for those of you who do injections...
We just started our stimulations meds tonight... I felt so stressed out making sure everything was measured correctly. Anyway, when you did the injection in the stomach is it normal for it to bleed a bit (and hurt ) ?

Yes, at times the subcutaneous injections site did bleed and hurt a little. It depended on which injection it was. the repronex really bothered me.
try putting a ice pack on the site where you will inject for a few minutes before you inject your self. that helped a little. I also would pinch the site for a few seconds and then inject. that kind of numbed the area and you did not feel it as much.

It does bleed a little sometimes...and I agree with the pinching - it's what I do and it seems to work.

Make sure the repronex doesn't drip out of the needle until you inject. If there is even a tiny drip on the needle, it stings like CRAZY!!!!!

I agree too. Pretend your tummy is a dartboard and inject it quick.

I promise they get easier!
I did them in front of my friend the other day because we were running out together and she was amazed at how quick and easy it looked...especially since she saw me in my needle phobe finest.

YES! Diane swore to me it would get easier and I remember thinking "no it WON't!" but it definitely did!
