Black bridesmaid dress

I've been procrastinating

I'm in a wedding on October 28 - the bride is laid back and her only requirement is that we wear a black dress, of our choosing.

It's a sunday afternoon wedding - starts at 2pm.

Any suggestions?

My favorite little black dress that has gotten me a lot of mileage is from Banana-- they always have some great below the knee dresses.... I would check them out.

I think the "bridesmaid" j CREW dresses are only available online-- so, if you want to order one or two to try on as a back up-- you can do that. In my experience, getting something online doesn't always fit.

The Ann Taylor Celebrations line has some nice black dresses.

I like this one : " Sophia"




ETA- Some stores carry this line, but not all. The King of Prussia store would probably be the closest to you.
