Anyone else feeling this way?
Why must people feel the need to pull up my shirt to look at my pregnant belly????
This woman pulled my shirt up so far that my bra was almost showing, in the middle of the school hallway
Is it me, or is it just rude and an invasion of privacy??

i was never a belly person...
i don't feel the need to touch other people, and i don't think i'll want them touching me when i get to that point, i guess time will tell!

Thats the thing, I don't really have a belly yet. I am only 16 weeks. But this woman said "She was just checking"
I am not even that close to the woman!!!

I'm not a belly person either and I know I'm going to have serious issues with people touching my stomach when I get bigger.

I am showing already and I am only 12 weeks - I would have a problem with it, if it is someone I am not very close with.
DH's mother was doing all weekend, I am not big on the touchy touchy thing, but his mother lives in FL so I was like what the heck, let her be happy about it. Even though this is her 10th grandchild!

I saw this tee shirt on www.2chix.com that said something like "don't touch the bump" or something. I'll see if I can find it for you. Maybe you can wear it to work one day???

I saw this tee shirt on www.2chix.com that said something like "don't touch the bump" or something. I'll see if I can find it for you. Maybe you can wear it to work one day???
TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE!!!! I woulda smacked her..lol.. j/k... Or lifted her shirt just to check..

people have already tried touching my belly, and I'm not showing at all yet (only 9.5 weeks).
I think its totally inappropriate and rude! I know its only going to get worse as I start to show, but I don't plan on allowing it.
No way would I let someone I'm not close with lift my shirt! I would have nicely told her to back off!

totally inapproprate! I'm one of those that don't like people touching my belly (luckily, I haven't had an onslaught of touchy people). But to lift your shirt???!!! That's borderline harassment

I would flip! I don't even like when you get a pedicure or manicure and they massage you-I'm likeyou can just skip it. I hate strangers touching me!!

I mostly get the "rub" of the belly. No one actuall had tried to pull up my shirt. If they did, I think I would flip!

I hate it! I have never had anyone lift my shirt though
I don't mind family and friends touching really, it is mostly some people from work and strangers that bother me.
It bothered me the most when I wasn't really showing yet and I felt like people were grabbing my fat belly!
Now that I am huge it doesn't bother me as much, I am getting used to it.
