Poems for Scrapbooks
I am making a scrapbook for a friend's daughter - I am doing a growing up book from birth to age 10. I wanted to write a saying or poem on the front page - Any suggestions ???

Re: Poems for Scrapbooks
Off the top of my head, I can think of a growing up poem, but it's more for the parent than it is for the child:
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait for tomorrow, For children grow up, we've learned to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs; dust, go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.
Have you thought about using song lyrics as an alternate? Sometimes there are really nice lines in songs that could be used.
