I charge $35 but only b/c I replaced another tutor and that is what she charged the parents. If it was anyone else I would charge $40-$45.
My reading professor (2 years ago) told me that we should charge $90 for tutoring in reading since when we graduate (which I did last December) we are considered diagnosticians.

I teach Spanish and French - 7th and 8th grade, but I have tutored all the way through college level.

I tutor AP and College level.
At least $90 an hour.
There are very few teachers trained for the course.

French and Spanish tutors in my school get $65 an hour. I have a student that's a senior that tutors Spanish at $25 an hour.

I think when tutoring take into account the area, high or low income and your degree.
I only charge $50p/h
