"Do you have any questions for me"?
when you go on an interview and this questions is asked of you at the end, what do you usually say?
I try and ask 1 question about the job, like who it reports to or or a question about one of the responsibilities. and I always ask "when are you looking to fill this position"?
Just curious what everyone else asks.

i like to ask a question about the company in general...
like if i do research and see that they recently expanded (into new markets, product lines), ask if that new market is performing up to expectations

As my direct report in this position, what are the three top priorities you would first like to see accomplished?
What’s the most important thing I can do to help within the first 90 days of my employment?
How will my leadership responsibilities and performance be measured? And by whom? How often?

that's a great question to ask! the last interview I went on was for a new position, but I will keep that one in mind for the future.

I am in HR so I have asked that question and have been asked that question 
If I am doing the interviewing, I never want to hear "No I have no questions". I would like them to ask about the job, the company etc. Basically it is a way for the candidate to get more info and also the recruiter to see how ambitious, intellectual, and on top of stuff you are. And yes, asking when they expect to make a decision etc is great. Shows you are eager and also gives you a time frame.

I wanted to bump this to point out that I got the job I have now by asking these questions. It gave me an idea of what was really expected of me and made me think about how I compared.
