OMG WHY DO KIDS KNOW THIS STUFF??
my friend called me earlier to tell me she stayed late and saw my student sitting by the office (he goes to the after school program). APparently, he called another person the "N" word, said that he cant watch HS Musical because it makes his D*** (male part) so hard its going to explode, AND that when it gets hard stuff comes out.
HE IS 6 years old and in 1st grade
Cant wait to deal with this tomorrow!
he isnt really a BAD kid just a "know it all" type

It's only my 3rd year in teaching, but here's what I've learned: People do NOT know how to parent. That kind of stuff just didn't happen when we were growing up. I think it's really sad that these poor kids are losing their innocence at an increasingly early age.

Agreed.
There is no other reason why a six year old would know such. It's not like he's left alone to hang out with his friends like teenagers are.
It's a direct reflection of the "adults" (for lack of a better term ) in his life. Disgusting.

That's not bad? He called someone the "N" word! I think that's awful.
He must hear that stuff at home. Scary.

He sounds like he has emotional issues - na dknows these things due to his upbringing and what he is exposed to - if he is like this at 6, I shudder tp think what he will be like as a teenager...

he told me today that there is a boy at his moms friends house that tells him these things. i plan on calling mom tomorrow.
his mom plays the " i dont understand those words in english" card and that is just BS
