Now I'm up to 21 follies...
Went again today for a sono today and the nurse saw 9 on the right ovary and 12 on the left. I believe they ranged from 6 to 11 in size. Today will be my 6th night of shots for menapur and they want me to start the ganirelix tonight also so DH will be doing 2 shots tonight...lucky me:) The nurse said I will most likely go in for retrieval on Friday or Saturday. I don't have another appt for blood & sono until Wednesday. I'm starting to feel a little more bloated and crampy so hopefully the retrieval will be Friday.

Can you mix the 2 shots together in one syringe??
Idid Bravelle and Menapur and mixed them together.

Your sono's will feel ike an eternity counting all the follies

DH just gave me the 2 shots. The ganirelix wasn't bad although I bled after. The menapur seems like it's getting harder. Maybe because my belly is getting a little sore and probably because it's bloated it's more sensitive.
Definitely not looking forward to the HCG and prog shots:(

Great follies! I'm so happy things are moving along. Don't worry about the HCG shot - it's nothing. I had one yesterday in my arm. The spot is a little sore but the shot didn't hurt at all.

Don't worry about the HCG...it's no worse than the regular shots. The progesterone gets to be a little much from my understanding. Good luck with everything!!!

Kathy,
That's great news! By the HCG shot comes, you'll be thankful to be giving your belly a break. Just remember to bend over a bit, and tell DH to tighten the skin between his fingers before injecting. I'm starting injections tonight, and will hopefuly be retireving next Friday.

Sharon, when you say for DH to tighten the skin do you mean pinch the skin or stretch it to make it flat.
