Grrr, La Familiga is closed, need rest. help
Hey All,
Does anybody know of any places in the Commack/Smithtown/Kings Park area (I know, I should know this myself) that either do family style and/or are moderately priced (ie like $50-$70 per couple). I'm going out to eat for New Years Eve and there will be 8 of us. We can't spend an arm and a leg. We thought La Familiga was great, but its closed Monday. We need the reservation for 8PM. Thanks

Not family style - but very fairly priced

Not family style - but very fairly priced
it doesn't have to be Italian, but thanks. We tried Emilios and they won't take reservations on NYE. I'll try Orlando's. Thanks

Maybe Ciao Baby...I am not 100% sure on the pricing, but, I do think they are family style.

yea, its too expensive. See out of the 8 of us, 1 couple is expecting, 1 couple is planning a wedding, 1 couple just bought a new apartment and us, well we always are looking for bargains. We are trying to go out to eat, then back to my friend's house for drinks & snacks and they live in Commack.

What about a Fridays/Chilis/Applebees type place?

Old Street Pub is very inexpensive. Not Italian food.......but the food is very good........

I'm so grrr that this was moved to food & recipes. Doesn't belong over here. Sometimes the LIF police drive me insane. Read a post please before you move it, just don't go by the title.

Ciro's in Kings Park (very good!!)
(not family style but moderately priced)
Intermezzo- Fort Salonga
1016 Cafe (or something like that....it's in the shopping center where bottle bargains)

I second Butera's (not family style, but not more expensive than La Familgia). Also Garden Grill may be in that price range as well (but they attract an older crowd).
