NO motivation WHATSOEVER
Oh, this lack of motivation is so bad. We've only been back... what? A day? I have so much grading I didn't do over the break and zero interest in doing it now. And I can't sleep, so what am I doing? Why, I'm online of course. Why would I be doing the mounds of work that await me? I wonder if I'll ever be motivated again... ah, the January slump. It never goes away. Eight years teaching and it's just as bad as ever...

I am sooo with you. I haven't felt motivated once this year - and I don't mean just the first few days back in 2008, I'm talking fall of 2007!! So having the January slump on top of the sophomore slump (it's only my 2nd year) is not so good...
