Quality Review NYC
I offically cannot stand hear "QR" or "The British are Coming" or "team of blah blah". I hope someone can sympathize!

We just had ours the beginning of the week...
My school was frantic trying to get rooms ready and "paperwork" all i kept thinking was shouldnt this "work" we are stressing over have been done and ready since back in september....noooo it took til january too FINALLY get stuff in place....
I actually felt FAKE when they came....things were in in tip top shape as of that friday and thats sad

My principal is going to serve lunch and "encourage" us to complete the teacher survey part. I hope he does not hover over our shoulders, because I plan to be very honest! I am sick of hearing about it, but I am so fed up with things at my school.

He is encouraging you because the number of responses of surveys affects the school grade....mine didnt do so well cuz only 10 teachers did it last year

We had ours last week and my class was one of the ones that got observed. It wan't bad though...I just did what I normally do. The paperwork was a pain in the butt though.
Glad its over!!!

Yes and those surveys have nothing to do with Quality Review.

Yes and those surveys have nothing to do with Quality Review.
yes the surveys are related to i think the progress report card i forget what its called but the one where the schools get a letter grade
there are just so many assessments for nyc schools (it gets confusing after a while).....ummmm just like the many assessments the students have to take....too much testing if u ask me
