My son (sesame st live/day in NYC review)

was the most perfect little angel ever today!

We had such a blast-

I didnt bring the stroller- and was happy I didnt... I totally didnt need it...

I didnt nap him this morning.. since I planned for him to nap on the train on the way in... He didnt nap but was soooo good... Im still floored!

We got off the train... went right to the Fridays in Penn Station...

Had lunch...

Went right upstairs to MSG- RJ walked around... got a few souvenirs and cotton candy (which he hates btw- what kinda kid dosent like cotton candy?)

Got in our seats 15 min before show time.... the seats on both sides of us were empty- so that was a bonus! Show started a 2pm on the dot, and was so so so so good... RJ LOVED it... I cried twice just looking at his face and seeing his amazement! I was nervous and thought he might be a llittle young... but he wasnt at all!

During INT. him and I walked around- gotta let little man get his energy outChat Icon

Then the 2nd half of the show started... My little guys was dancing and clapping, but then started to dose off (Mind you its almost 3:30 and he hadnt had one nap all dayChat Icon ) So my mom and I skipped out 15 min early.. so we could catch that off peak train- (we figured a) he really dosent know the difference and b) he was starting to Chat Icon anyway...

The last off peak train was a little nuts... but we got seats and again- I figured he nap on the train... but NO WAY MAN- this little powerhouse was still going strong..

Amazing on the train ride home-

I just can get over how good he was... went with the flow.. and everything...

Really I was a little nervous with craziness even with my moms extra set of hands... but I didnt even need them!

I do wanna say that I think a big factor was I didnt over pack... I just brought my reg. diaper bag- I through an extra pair of clothes, a couple extra diapers, and his usual wipes/snacks... I figured in case of an emergency- Kmart and duane reed are right there... But I didnt even use the extra stuff I brought! and not having to lug a stroller and huge diaper bag around helped so much!

Anyone else who plans to catch the show- enjoy! We most certainly did!

Our kids always seem to amaze us- just when we think they'll be one way and you're preparing for the worst, they surprise us by doing the opposite and you are just in awe of how flexible they can be and go with the flow

Sounds like a perfect outing. We took Andrew to see SSL too when he was about 15 months old at Nassau Coliseum. He loved it too!

We go every year. Sean was 14 months for his first show. He really loved it, too.

So glad you had a great day with Ryan!
