I think Twins are awesome.
I have asked some of those questions...
Like "are they identical" why is that bad? My SIL has Identical twins.
im curious.. why is that so wrong?
Because 9 times out of 10 the kids look exactly alike and ti si pretty obvious. It is notamlly followed up by them inspecting your twins so they can be positive. Most times they ask are you sure? Then comes the follow up of how they have an aunt's unlce's sister who has twins and they run in the family etc, when Identical's don't run in the family.
Also it is not that it is so wrong but it is all in how is it said. Also when you leave the house being stopped 15 times while running to get milk, get's old real quick

I get this when I say they are fraternal - are you sure??? Now I just let them guess and whatever they guess I say yes they are. I don't feel like fighting - I think I know they don't look identical, and that when my OB told me at 7 weeks that they were fraternal, they know what they are talking about.
