Can't find my motivation lately

I'm really in the winter slump.

In NC, we don't get a February break. Our next break is for Easter, at the end of March.

I am SOOOOOO unmotivated. And tired. I came home from work and fell asleep on the couch for 3 hours!!! DH tried to wake me twice!

I need to find some motivation, and quickly!!!!

Take it a day at a time! And then take a personal day!

definitely take a personal day somewhere between...and good thing easter is early this year!!!

I dont get a Feb break either ( Hudson Valley)
We use too many snow days usually to get one.

My motivation is gone too. Every day I feel like I just put in the minimum effort and could care less about creating innovative lessons. The poor kids are suffering so bad from new curriculum maps we have been using which are jam packed and I'm so far behind


I cant wait until March break for some rest and recuperation

I'm taking 2 personal days next week so that I can regroup. It's our anniversary, so we're going to Miami for a few days

But man...I hope this does wonders for me, because I can't stand the fact that I just don't care right now!!!

oh my gosh I totally feel your pain- I've been unmotivated for WEEKS. The only thing that's brought me out of it is knowing this is the last week of drama club (that means I'll get home at regular time each night- woohoo!) and then its one more week of teaching before recess!

I'm so sorry you have to wait so long for another break...this time of year is maddening. Taking those personal days is a PERFECT idea!
