sounds that make you think

it will be the third anniversary of mom's death on the 16th so i'm thinking of her a lot of course. i just remember how excited i used to get when i would hear the garage door opening while i was up in my room at night. i loved that she was home. i always loved hearing that sound..any sounds that remind you of your loved ones?

Shoe laces on the linoleum (sp?)...A very good friend of mine used to walk around with his boot laces undone. I never thought about it until he passed away almost 10 years ago. Every time I hear that sound I think of him. (Amongst all the other times that I think of him)
