what is going on with the prices of airline tickets!!!
they are out of control. now off-season is what summer time used to be.
this completely freaking *****!

Everything seems to be going up bc of the increase in price of fuel.
Everything except our income!!

Yup, it's the fuel surcharges! We just went on a cruise and had to pay a fuel surcharge of $70pp!

I am abnormally and irrationally angry right now.
like spitting nails and fire breathing angry.
we just spend $170 for about 5 nights worth of groceries and a few extras.
fine. pricey. but I'll pay.
but you want me to do that, pay through the nose for housing and then
TAKE AWAY MY EUROPE.
NO. NO NO NO NO NO .
I am pouting.

OMG, I know!!!
I'm really upset right now, because it looks like we're going to have to choose between coming home to NY to see our families this summer, or going to one of my closest friends' weddings in NC, because of the plane prices being so ridiculous.
When we moved out here just a couple years ago, going back home for visits twice a year wasn't a huge issue at all. Now we haven't been back in a little over a year because we just can't afford to go back AND attend out-of-state weddings, go on vacation, etc.
