My attempt at getting pictures of them together
I attempted to take pictures of them together today wearing their bunny ears. Didn't quite work out. I would call these the outtakes but these are the good ones 
Any tips on how to get good pictures of them together and how to get them to sit still for 2 seconds?

Is that with your new camera? 
I wish I had advice for you (other than the 2 second TV trick, but then the background is not as nice) - I haven't gotten one really nice picture of them together in I don't know how long.

I'm super impressed that they're even in the same frame! I usually get half a head and a limb from another boy.
They look adorable!

So funny you posted this.
I tried to get their 11 month shots done today... yeah, one day late... shhhh don't tell... we all know yesterday was not a good day around here and the same thing... DD going from sitting to crawl, DS pulling at the sign, crying from teething... oh good times, good times...lol.
I even took them into another room which they are never in (it has hardwood and no carpet) and all DS wanted to do was spin on his belly on the hardwood
Those ears are adorable
Did you see they had a 3 pack of little Irish flags in the dollar section of Target? (see avatar) If you want to "attempt" a St. Pat's shot.
Oh, calling IrishTracey... we need the TwinWhisperer Patrick... if the poor boy is feeling up to it

That is why I used to take their monthly shots like a week early. In case they didn't work out I had a few days to get them again.
Yes, the only thing we all can do is get Patrick to sit with the kids!
Love the ears, they look adorable...even if they aren't sitting still!

those pictures are adorable!! i just bought the bunny ears from target and was going to attempt the same thing. it's getting harder and harder with each passing month to get nice pictures!
maybe you can try to do them with another person, so the other person can distract them/entertain them while you snap the camera.
they are still super cute pics!!

they are so cute
I could NEVER get a pic of them together, well at least a good one. I get so jealous when I take them to have their pics done and they sit still and look GREAT

Can you get them to hug each other, that way they are at least close.
When we go to KK, they can get the shots, but I never could. Now that they are older they are a bit better, but have started that cheesy smile thing.

OMG-- they are SO cute. amazing eyes on both....

They're adorable!
From the pictures, I see you have a cage. That's definitely one way to get them together for a shot.
One way is to get someone else in the room with them. They can be the distractor to get them to look up. The minute you get them to look up & they see you behind a camera, they may be losing interest. Other ideas are to put them on their bellies (because it may take them a split second to get up), flip the TV on (they'll look like deer caught in headlights, but will be still).

Throw the bunny ears on them...throw out some plastic easter eggs...hand them a bucket...and stand back with camera in hand.

Looks like all of the photo shoots in my house! I have no idea how to help! We took over 300 holiday photos and wound up with an "outtake" as well!
