I have Mono.....meds?
For who had mono before, did your doctor give you medication for it?

My sister's kids have mono now. It's a virus so they don't treat it with anything... It just has to run it's course.
Dr. said to give Tylenol for fever and that's about it.
I hope you feel better soon.

nope. its viral. no meds. I had mono 3x. Once my freshman year of hs, once the summer before college and then again 2 years later.
I couldn't even pick my head up. I was a zombie for months. It s u c k e d

No antibiotics, but they gave me Prednisone for the inflammation in my hands and feet. Lots of rest and in a few weeks you should be feeling better.

I had it my senior year of college...no meds...it's horrible. Just get lots of rest and it will be over before you know it. Feel better!!!

i had mono in college...no meds... but now i forget...how does the doc diagnose this?
