New BC and AF question
When you start a new birth control, is it normal for your AF to be a bit wacky? I started my period last Sunday and started a new birth control that day. Generally, my AF is heavy, but only last 4 days, tops. Well, it's been a week now non-stop and it's still going strong. It's Sunday and I can't call my doctor, so I figured I'd ask here if anybody has experienced something like this. It's probably normal, but I'm paranoid and don't like that's it's been so long.

You got your period on Sunday and started the pills the same day? You weren't on them before?
It probably is because you started your period the same day you started the pills.
Also, I would have taken the Sunday start to mean TODAY, not last Sunday, KWIM?

The doctor said if I happen to get AF on a Sunday to start THAT day. I thought it was weird too, but that's what she said. Says the same thing in the written instructions she gave me.

Hmmm, well, I think probably it will just be this month and then it should be fine

Thanks. I think what's bothering me the most is this BC is supposed to make AF lighter and shorter and this has been the longest, heaviest and most painful I've ever had.  Oh well.
