have you gone back to school after your masters? extension certificate?
i want to get my 30 above (work in nyc school). already have my masters. i want to do it on the cheap but i am also thinking of trying to get certified in another area. anyone know anything about getting an extension certificate in another aread? i'd rather just get the credits i need for the extension certificate and then get the rest of the 30 cheap from the uft or something.
sorry if this didn't make sense! thanks to anyone who can help

Just started the process of going back to get my CAS in Literacy. Because I went to Hofstra for my masters, they applied 9 credits to my program. So instead of 27 credits, I only have to take 18.

Try the Teaching Opportunity Program. It's free and through CUNY. I got a second master's in Literacy through it.

I am at Hofstra now too for the same program...did you start yet??? I am at the end. Such a great program....I am exhausted when I go to class but I love going!

Didn't start yet, tried to start for Summer Session I, but they were closed out, so I'll start in the fall. I loved the masters program at Hofstra, so I wanted to go back. Glad to hear good things about the program!

OMG I love this program and I will be sad to leave. The professors are fantastic! Very caring and laid back (atleast the ones I have had) they really treat everyone as collegues
ETA...If you ever need help or want to know about a prof let me know I would be happy to help you.
