Anyone work f/t and also go to school?
I work f/t and am going for my masters. My school is in quarters and the spring quarter is from the end of March to beginning of June. I am due in May and currently taking 5 graduate credits. I just spet about 8 hours this weekend doing work and I still have so much more to do. I am starting to get nervous about the end of the quarter (when the baby is here). The program is distance learning so it helps I view my lectures from home, but it is still just as much work as an in person program. My professors know when I am due and are flexible with me... but still I am starting to get overwhelmed. How am I going to study for and complete my finals and final papers

Re: Anyone work f/t and also go to school?
Hello! I'm 14 weeks and work f/t and attend Adelphi p/t for my Master's as well. I have to attend every semester, including summers. This Spring was my first semesters so I have a long way to go.
Unfortunatly for me, my program is not distance learning. I haven't felt overwhelmed yet, but am sure I will soon. Trying to figure, how am I going to juggle, a home, baby, school and work??
I am sure your professors understand your situation. Take it easy and try not to stress yourself out....

Many women do it and you will too. Don't stress over it, it's not good for you. Everything will just pan out and you'll look back and probably still question how you did it.
When I was pregnant last time I was taking a master's class, student teaching, and working 16 hours a week. As women we are equipped to just do what we gotta do.

I worked full time (and part time) and went to school when I was pg. It was tough but I did it. Just remember to take some time to relax when you need it and you will through it.
The problem I have now is finishing my Masters with a toddler running around

I was in the EXACT same situation. DS was due in May and I was teaching full time and going for my masters. Some how it all worked out as it will for you. Just take some deep breaths and try to relax.

I know what it's like - I did distance learning while working full-time. Just take one day at a time. It will be out of your control, but I'm sure everything will work out!!

I work f/t and go to school for my masters p/t. I stopped the semester after I had my baby, now I'm back and taking one class at a time. I try and make time after she goes to bed to do schoolwork.
