Miss my Mom; very upset
TOday would have been my Mom's bday. In five days will be the 4th anniversary of her death. She died of cancer. I am miserable. THis time of year brings back some horrible memories.
I recently found a letter that she wrote me many years ago when I was in college; she drove me to school for my sophomore year, and when she got home, she mailed me a letter encouraging me and telling me how proud she was of who I had become.
I'm sick and angry that I don't have her here.
So much has happened since she died...I got engaged and married, 2 new jobs........Yet always have this underlying feeling of anxiety that I know is because she isn't here. I'm very upset right now.
I don't think anyone can possible empathize or understand this feeling. I am so very miserable.....it is actually physically painful.

 I;m so sorry! I know exactly how you feel as I just lost my dad 7 months ago to cancer. He was diagnosed and passed 6 weeks later. Its devastating. I'm still filled with such anger and sadness. Anger at how unfair it is for this to have happened to my family. Angry that my three year old still doesn't understand where his Pop is and why he hasn't come back to play with him. And I could go on and on. Its just brutally unfair.
I know how you feel...it literally makes your heart ache.
I'm sorry your are hurting so much.

 I know how you feel believe me, I lost my Mom it will be 4 yrs Dec 21, and buried her Xmas Eve, the miss is so strong, and the hurt it never goes away, it might get easier to deal with, and yes your anxiety is because your Mom is no longer with you, but she is watching over you, talk to her, she's listening...

I am very sorry. I lost my mom 14 1/2 months ago. It hurst alot. I, too, actually just found a letter she wrote me 10 years ago. For my bday my parents sent me a book and my mom mailed a letter with it and I stuck the letter in the book. My mom died 10 years after she wrote that letter and it just made me realize how short 10 years is when you are dealing with loved ones. As much as it hurts just remember you are never alone and it will be ok. Take care!
