pain on my right side
for the past couple of days I keep having this pain on my right side. THe last time I ad similar pain was when I had cysts on my ovary. Now sine I had that gyn appt last week and found out I have a polyp I'm sure if he saw cysts he would have told me. I have no idea what this pain is, my mom said if it was my appendix the pain would be lower, I have pain kind of near where the hipbone is but further in.
Is it possible I pulled a muscle or something?

I know you don't think it is cysts- but is this around the time you might be ovulating? Sometimes my ovulation pain is so intense I think that I'm going to burst... first time it happened I thought it was my appendix and went to the ER!

I have pain on one side during ovulation but it's not days of pain. I think you should call your gyn.

It could be except I get a different type of pain and its more lower and in the center pain wise and unless its early I don't think I'm ovulating yet. This isn't a cramp type pain more of a if I get up too fast or stretch, lie down and then get up thats when the pain hits. If I sit down and don't move I'm fine.

if it isn't crampy- then it is probably a pulled muscle of some kind- take 2 advil and if it isn't gone by tomorrow, then call your doc. Advil always works better for that type of pain.
edited to say- that location is exactly where I get my pain- and it is really really intense.... I've had sonograms and cat scans while having the pain and they haven't seen anything..... but- I know it has to do w/ ovulation b/c i can time it like clock work.

I did this morning, and they said pain is normal side effect from what I had done last week, but this is a different pain and its gotten worse since yesterday.

Is there any chance you are pregnant? I know you just went to the doctor, but as a survivor of an ectopic pregnancy, it is always the first thing I think of.

Have you ever had gall stones?
Im not sure if this is what it could be, but, when I had stones it felt like gas that I just couldn't pass.(Sorry, way TMI ) and It HURT!
Call your Dr. if you still have the pain tomorrow!

I'm hoping its gone by tomorrow. I took some tylenol 30minutes ago and I think its helping somewhat. It doesnt feel like gas pain, no back pain, except earlier my back was a little sore, but not too bad. Never had gall stones
