Afraid to BD now
Since I had my ultrasound which showed a slow heartbeat, I'm afraid to BD with DH. I keep thinking about it during, kinda ruining the moment. Am I being silly, whatever is going to happen is going to happen right? Poor DH

Re: Afraid to BD now
you are right.....my doctor told me there was nothing I could do to prevent a miscarriage nor was there anything I did to cause it, so don't feel guilty. AT our initial appt. when I Was spotting, the Dr told me to refrain from BD just in case but I m/c anyway.
The good thing is you did get a heartbeat. When you see/hear a heartbeat, your risk of m/c is lowered and then it's lowered again once you hit 12 weeks.
GOOD LUCK and lots of for you

Re: Afraid to BD now
I know exactly how you feel... I miscarried at 6 weeks and then got pregnant again one week later. When I miscarried, the bleeding started immediately after DH and I BD'd so I was convinced that's what caused the miscarriage so I was terrified of BDing with DH for a few weeks when I found out I was pregnant again. But, really, the truth is, there's absolutely nothing you can do to prevent one... don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with, and hopefully at the next Dr. visit you'll get GREAT news and will be able to stop worryin!

Re: Afraid to BD now
You're not being silly, AT ALL. You've already gained that maternal instinct and feel like protecting your child... even if it's avoiding the simple act of love making. I saw don't rush yourself, and BD when you feel is right... even if it's after the doctor confirms that the baby is doing fine.

I don't think you're being silly. I would be afraid to BD too. I'm sorry you are going through this
