Ever stayed at Montauk Manor?

Liked? Disliked? Thoughts???? DH and I spent the day in Montauk today, drove by and thought it looked soooooo pretty....I know it's not on the beach, but there was just something so nice looking about it. Wanted some opinions before booking a night. Thanks Chat Icon

Yes! It was nice...Not really fancy, but we had a suite with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom. That aspect was really nice because it felt more like an apt than a hotel room. We had a beautiful view of the water though you couldn't walk. The restaurant there was excellent too.

So long as you aren't expecting the Ritz Carlton, I think you'll like it. We did! Chat Icon

i stayed years and years ago. i think most of its charm is in the concept of staying in a castle.

We just stayed there in April. It was a nice place. We stayed with our DD and it was perfect for us since it had a separate living room and kitchen. It's not the most updated place, but it was definitely a nice stay.

Re: Ever stayed at Montauk Manor?

We usually stay there each October, and each time our room has been quite different (since many of them are co-ops and each owner decorates them a bit differently). Once we had a loft upstairs and a large balcony; another time a studio with no balcony. We really like it there and we usually bring a bottle of Champagne and some cheese and crackers to enjoy in front of the fireplace & to listen to the player piano :) We don't typically stay there in the summer since we prefer to walk into town & to the beach.

Dh and I stayed there last October and will def. go back! It was so cute!
It was nice to sit by the fire place at night and just hang out. We went swiming (indoor pool) and had breakfast in their restaurant.

Re: Ever stayed at Montauk Manor?

It's nice - clean, affordable and condo units.

A better bet is the Montauk Yacht Club.
