Boiling chicken b4 BBQ...Q
My mom always swears by boiling the chicken b4 putting it on the BBQ so it is definitely cooked & so its quicker on the BBQ. They're at a wedding today & so I can't ask her, but how long would you boil it for?

my mom actually microwaves it for 5 minutes before. I started doing that and it does take less time.

I've never heard of boiling chicken, but I have pre-baked it. I only bake it if its in a marinade though, otherwise it would get too dried out.

never boiled or baked in--if u cook it under bricks on indirect heat it cooks just fine

My brother boils in beer for about 15 minutes. I microwave mine for abut 7-minutes.

did you ever boil a chicken before?
the smell is 
I think bbq-ing w/the cover closed is enough to ensure that the chicken is cooked.
