Using a springform cake pan
Do you have to coat the inside first with anything?
What are some good cakes to use with one?
I have two, one round and one round bundt, I guess.

cheesecakes...(not the bundt ones) and homemade icecream cakes for springform. I have some awesome ones if u are interested.. theonlyone thatcomes to find I ever put in my springform is a chocolate kahlua cake

eh, I just follow the recipe... if it calls for pan prep, then I do it.
For cheese cakes, I always gently run a knife between the walls and the cake when it comes out of the oven... that minimizes the chance of cracking as it cools.
