Running injury...
I had another great run yesterday 13 miles along the Chatahoochie River. Well after the run, still feeling great..knees great, ankles, shins and achilles all doing fine...hips in great shape....wouldn't you know it...my TOE is KILLING me!! It's always something...a huge blister that practically covered half my toe, popped it and now it's raw and really sensitive. So funny how something so little can side line you.
I'm really fine, I just find it amusing...and it's not like I can strength train my toe or stretch it to help it from getting injured!

Re: Running injury...
when i was training for a marathon it was those 11,12,13 milers that taught me where my weak spots were for blisters. i solved this issue by 1. buying that second skin stuff and wrapping all of my vulnerable areas, and 2. trying MANY different kinds of socks until i found ones that didn't cause me blisters. so on marathon day i didn't get a single blister! but i suffered a lot before then...

Re: Running injury...
This one toe takes a beating...I should just wrap it...but I am so lazy and forget most of the time. But seriously, this one toe is a mess, after the marathon I had a blood blister...same toe!!!

Re: Running injury...
your post reminds me of the blister scene in the movie "run fatboy run". if you haven't seen it yet, rent it, very funny

Re: Running injury...
agh - I would have to pop it!
I have been very lucky and haven't had a blister in what feels like years - but now that I typed it - I will get one! LOL
