This Is Really Strange - What Do You Make Of It?
I replaced someone who moved on to another position in our company. Even though this person's responsibilities were supposed to shift entirely, he's still doing media stuff (my job) which he's not supposed to be doing.
Here's the weird part - on all communication that goes out externally (sometimes I'm cc'd on it), he keeps his old title on his email. But it appears as though he's hiding that when he sends emails out internally b/c his invalid signature mysteriously ALWAYS disappears. What do you make of that? I think it's so strange.

That's really strange -- I would have a conversation with the boss and show them what's going on. He's falsely representing himself on behalf of the company.

I agree with the above poster. I'd also forward those emails he sends misrepresenting himself to my boss!

When I switched positions in one of my old companies, I was still a little involved during the transition. I was politely told by the girl THANKS BUT I WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE!
Maybe he is just used to doing it? I would tell him thanks for your help but I have it all under control.
