It's a great town. We bought a multi-mansion package (I think 6 mansions). The town is great to just stroll around in, lots of little shops. Do the Cliff Walk.

I know I am in the minority, but I didn't love Newport. We did the cliff walk, mansions, and town in 1/2 day...and other than that, there wasn't much else to do.
