Casual NYC dining recs
DH and I are going into the city for our anniversary. We will be just doing the tourist thing- Museum of Natural History, Central Park, etc. I am looking for suggestions of places to eat for dinner that are casual, since it will be more of a dress down kind of day. TIA!

Re: Casual NYC dining recs
Most places don't have a dress code except for the very fancy places. There are millions of tourists running around in shorts and tees and they are eating in all the restaurants.
I highly recommend Rosa Mexicana, Providence, Social, Sosa Borella, Molivos, Zarela, Emmet o'Lunneys, Hurleys. Rosa Mexicana is the lease casual of all of the places but you would still be fine dressed in summer casual clothes.
Have fun!

Are you specifically looking to stay uptown near the park? What kind of food?
Are you talking shorts or jeans? There are plenty of places jeans are acceptable, but shorts is another matter.
I love Tao, Spice Market, Ono, Marc Joseph (steakhouse)
