Consult today, with Dr. Scher,...was amazing !
Today I had my consult with Dr. Jonathon Scher. He is a ob/gyn and the author of the book entitled Preventing Miscarriage, The Good News. He specializes in immunological and implantation issues. He deals with failed ivfs and resolving unexplained infertility. The new addition to that book just came out in Sept 2005....
I was very enthusiastic about this consult. I have heard tons of great things about Dr. Scher from the women on www.ivfconnections.com. My acupuncturist spoke highly of him as well, as did Dr. Spandorfer from Cornell.
Dr. Scher, was full of information and extremely thorough. He sat with my dh and I explained so much to us. He was truly interested in finding a cause and treating it. He was extremely empathetic and so positive. The nurses there were wonderful. My dh and and I were in awe.
This was the first time , even my dh had to give a lot of vials of blood :) ....
He set up a treatment plan, and we are awaiting the results from the tons of blood tests.

Oh Michelle- I just read this after I FM'd you! This could be it- the missing piece of the puzzle for you- I'm SO happy that this guy was good! Many many prayers for you and your DH that he finds the problem and treats it!

Michelle I am so so so happy to hear this went so well. It restores our hope to have a great consult, doesn't it? This is how I feel after every visit to my acupuncturist, she is so knowledgable and uplifting. It's a great feeling.
