Anyone know of any travel agencies that would maybe specialize in Thailand etc?? We need to book our honeymoon soon and Liberty Travel wasn't very helpful.

Thanks!!

Where are you looking to go in Thailand? I went there on my honeymoon and may be able to help you out. Chat Icon

Re: Thailand??

Oh any info you have would be great!! Ideally, we want to go to Bangkok for about 2 days and then island hop. What islands and resorts would you suggest? When did you go? All advice will be soooo appreciated!

TIA!

Re: Thailand??

How much time do you have? Have you done any research about islands? What time of year are you going? Look into Krabi and Khao Lak if you want a more low key experience. Phuket is nice but very very touristy.

Bangkok is an amazing city and highly suggest spending at least 3 days there. We were there for 4 days and it wasn't nearly enough!

As for resorts we stayed in Khao Lak at The Sarojin. Incredible place and we are actually planning on going back here for our 2nd anniversary! The pool suite is to die for. I can't wait to be laying on that sala again. AHHHH! Chat Icon

Have you looked into flights? Unfortunately the non stop JFK-BKK flight on Thai Airways was canceled because of fuel costs. JAL flies to Bangkok through Tokyo and my husband (who travels a lot for business )says it's a nice flight with really great flight crew.

TripAdvisor is a great resource. Definitely check out there message boards for Bangkok! We stayed at the JW Marriot on Sukhumvit Road and it was gorgeous. Good prices too!

Here is a link to our honeymoon photos to give you an idea of the place!
