Newport: Anyone stayed here......
Has anyone stayed at the Chanler ?
We are looking to go up for 2-3 days next week.
Ive looked at some really helpful threads on here and welcome any additional ideas...

DH & I have stayed there twice...I use to live in Newport,and there are many great B&Bs to choose from, but we decided to 'treat' ourselves to this pricey Inn. FM if you want the full details.

Ohhh, that looks lovely! I got married in Newport, and they were just putting the finishing touches on it at that time, so we couldn't stay there.
One thing you might want to think about is that as I recall, it's not really within walking distance of Thames St (the main street in town) so if you want somewhere you can walk to dinner from it might not be the ideal location.
If that's not a concern, go for it- it looks beautiful!
