Sandals Antigua

DH's cousin is getting married there next May. How long dos one usually go to an all-inclusive for, and all in all how much should it cost (without flights)

Thanks!

Re: Sandals Antigua

We usually stay 6-7 days. It depends on the room category, but we've always booked during specials and 6 days usually costs around $2500-3000 for the lowest room category if you can get in during a special. I think Sandals is doing a special sale for next spring if you book now--it would usually be around $4500 for 6 days, but the sale is 25% off regular rates and a $550 airline credit pp. Anything less than 6 days seems too short, because the airfare will be a big portion of the cost, so adding on more days usually doesn't cost too much more.

How often do they have these deals? Because the current deal is until 7/31/08, and we don't want to book until after we get the save the date, since she still may change the date of the wedding. Do you think by December they will have another special?

Also, how far in advance should I book (at the latest?)

Thanks!

It totally depends on how full the resort is. Sometimes they have deals closer if they aren't full, but in my experience airfare is better the earlier you book. It's hard to say...Sometimes they also extend the deals if it isn't doing well.
