Need help quickly: Do you need a passport to go to Toronto?
I'm certain you do but hopeful there is another way around this. Today DH found out he has to go there on business tomorrow. I pulled out his passport and it just expired! Ugh!

hmm.. i'm not sure. i remember going to canada for a band trip in high school (quebec city) and we just had to have a birth certificate OR a passport.
BUT, that was 10 years ago- LOL so i'm sure things have probably changed. good luck!!

By air you do. By land or sea you don't.

My brother attempted to goto Niagra Falls (Canada side) and was DENIED entry without his passport!! They said he could get in, but in order to get back he would need to pay a fee, I don't recall the exact amount but he opted to stay on the NY side.
ETA: This was via land-he was 1/2 way there when he realized he didn't pack his passport
