I am sure she'll be fine. My MIL is doing great and she just finished her second knee replacement and is home.

Mom was supposed to be moved to rehab later this week but she's been losing blood (they can't determine the source) and her health has been declining. She was doing so great for a few days...walked down the corridor and actually cried because it was the 1st time in eight years that she walked without pain. But my brother saw her last night and she was disoriented, had stopped eating, etc. Something happened... They might be moving her into ICU if her situation does not improve.

I was just to post that my mom may be having the same surgery soon, and then I saw this update...

Thanks again to everyone! I talked to Mom today and she sounded GREAT!! They moved her (finally) to rehab and she actually navigated STAIRS for the 1st time in eight years without pain She was soo excited, it was like talking to a little kid at Christmas. I'm soo happy that she's finally recovering and seeing the benefit to the surgery. I just hope she can make it through the second one I love my Mom so much and I just want to see her whole
