I dont have a specific recipe. I just google a traditional one and use that...

BUT...

I ad some rosemary and thyme....gives it a really nice flavor.

I don't measure anything but...

i brown the meat first with a diced onion and some garlic. Put it in the crock pot with 1 bottle of beer (something good - not budweiser). I throw in :

1 package of onion soup mix
assorted veggies I have around - carrots, potatoes, string beans
2 or 3 squirts of mustard
1 can of beef broth
worsteschire sauce

you can set it on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 or 10.

honestly, the mccormick (I think it's mccormick, it's a red envelope) crockpot mixes are the best and so easy!
