Please encourage me!!!!!! Updated...I went!

I need words of encouragement PLEASE!

I havent been to ww since the beginning of August. I went totally off track since then and I know I gained so much back. I am starting back up tomorrow night.

I want to lose this weight but I am stuck in a rut. I am hoping seeing the number will get me motivated..I am also hoping for an inspirational meeting..

Any words of encouragement?? I so need to stick to this!

Well...I went and was weighed in!

And it wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be!!! I gained 1.6..which for me is NOTHING for not going for over a month. I mean its a gain, but I expected so much more. So, I am back on track, hoping to stay there!

Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!

Re: Please encourage me!!!!!!

You can do it - just try to concentrate, not on the numbers, but the fact that this is a lifestyle change to be healthier for yourself, your DH and your little monkey.

I always find that the best thing to do is to start SLOW. Too often people fall off the wagon when they start off too intense and too unrealistic for it to REALLY become a new lifestyle and a new habit. Take baby, baby steps and don't deny or restrict yourself too hard in the beginning. Make it easy enough that you can see this as a new way of eating and exercising for yourself, without cringing. What she saidChat Icon You can do it!!! I love My Virtual Model. Create an account and make her how much you weigh now and how much you would like to weigh. I've found it a fun motivator in the pastChat Icon

You can do it! Chat Icon Don't beat yourself up. So many of us have stopped and started before finally starting to succeed. You'll get there. Every time I have a bad day, I just let it go and start again the next day. Chat Icon Like other posters suggested, start slow and set small goals for yourself. That's the best way to start anything, diet or exercise, in my honest opinion.

We're all here to support you! Chat Icon

ITA with everything above!!! I still have all the booklets from all the times I quit. I have to say KUDOS to you for getting back into it so quickly instead of being letting another month or another year go by.

You can do this!! Just take it one day at a time, one choice at a time. Good luck and if you are ever feel yourself slipping you have all of us here to support you! Chat Icon Chat Icon
