help...i am supposed to start a early lit club afterschool at my school....

and I am so excited since it is my background and all before they moved me this year...but what should we call it, what do i market it as?? etc???

You know, before I even opened your post I thought, "Oh wow, she could do the early classics: Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Boxcar children, etc..." Books that we loved growing up but are now overlooked.

And then I opened it and my hopes were crushed. BUT...on reconsideration: why don't you focus on childrens mysteries at first. Market it as the Young Sherlock Holmes club or the Amateur Agatha Christies and have the students make predictions about how the books will turn out. You could also allow it to evolve into other genres as the year progresses.
