He swears it is meant to mean "angelic" but I know it means I am a ditz. Whatever.

i'd ask what they mean by that--since obviously if THEY employed you--then you DO deserve to be there. so what is that supposed to mean...are they warning you of something coming? very weird

Depends on the speaker. If my boss said it I would freak because he doesn't have an ounce of sarcasm in his body.
If my DH's boss/partner said it, he wouldn't think twice because they joke and pal around all the time like that.
