question about ginger
If a recipe calls for freshly grated ginger, and I want to substitute dried ground ginger, is it in simialr quantities? I know that if I buy the fresh stuff, I will use a tina amount and throw the rest out.
I know with spices, if you are using dried, you use 1/3 of the amount of fresh. Would it be the same for this? TIA!
