I started out on-line and for almost a year, lost and gained the same 7 lbs.
I started going to meetings 3lbs down from the high and have lost 11.6 lbs in the past 6 weeks for a total of 14.2 lbs
It's funny, when I'm literally sitting there, I don't think I actually *need* to be there.....but then I look back and obviously being there is doing something because I'm losing.

I need the accountability of the meetings. Knowing that someone else is going to see whether I went up or down makes me follow the program more closely.

I used to go to the meetings - now i just do online. Online is convenient but i always did better when I would go to the meetings.
