Those in nyc who are under new cert requirerments, who reports your professional development hours to the state?
Do we do it ourrselves righton the teach site or does our principal have to do it?

I'm not NYC, but I know in my district (LI) I am required to report them on the TEACH website once I have my professional certification...we use mylearningplan.com to keep track of them.

You report them on the TEACH website. I don't have my master's yet so I haven't done any of it...but that's where it goes.

my DH was told this as well. he is keeping track of everything on his own as well though. the DOE is notorious for making mistakes.

oh thank goodness, that's one less thing.
But then how does our school know how many hours we have? And do the hours of PD at school count towards the requirement? Otherwise I can't imagine how I'd rack up enough hours to meet it.
