Dentist Help
My husband is a suffolk cop and our dental plan covers everything 100% but the bad part is there only a few dentist and you can only change it once a year. The dentist we picked last year is down the block from us but we don't like him at all
Has anyone used any of these people?
I want the dentist to use new techniques and offer sweet air because I neeed it, I get so nervous. Also Id like to be able to get an appt easy. My last one I had to wait months!
1. Dr.barbara slonecki- East Islip 2. Dent-wise consultants- Commack 3. Dr. Bharati Bedi- Holtsville 4. Coram-Selden dental-Selden 5. Eastern suffolk dental- Riverhead 6- Dr. Richard freedman- North babylon
any advice would be amazing

Re: Dentist Help
I have the same dental ins. and we picked the dr diamond/Dent-wise in Commack. have yet to go yet though.
To be honest, i think anyone on there is not going to be that great just b/c they are willing to accpet very small payments from the ins. co to do the work. how good could they really be. When we go i will let you know how it goes though

AVOID DENT-WISE!!
the place was gross and Dr. John who works there is a complete a$s! they are really rude and they make you come to the office several times for a one trip visit, just so they can bang the ins. co. for the money since the ins. co. doesn't pay all that well.

UGHH thank you. I had to go to Dr Walden In Patchogue for an emergency which was my first cavity and this place was also very gross...dirty etc
I am going to pick a new dentist off the list and hope for the best, I can always change it next year. I will let you know how the new one is.

yeah keep me posted, my DH is going to try another one too, i'll let you know. As of yesterday i had to have an emergency root canel and i went back to my dentist who is not on the plan. I had to pay $960-but considering how gross his office was, it was money well spent. I wish she took the plan. I think we might end up going back to the plan where they give you back a certain percentage of money for any dentist
