Passport question
We are going to St. Marten in March. i have a passport with my maiden name on it, and managed to hold onto my driver's licence with my maiden name on it as well (shhh!) but it will be expiring in November...
do I need both for my trip, or just my passport? If I need both, can i use an expired driver's license as long as it has all my info on it?
TIA!

Re: Passport question
When traveling internationally you need a passport, IDs are no longer accepted. Cailen needs a passport as well.

When you buy your airline ticket you need to show ID at the airport. They may not take an expired license as a form of ID.

When we went away in Jan this year, we had to show both. ETS: Not sure if this is always the case.

We had to show both this past April as well when we went to Aruba.

I was told that they accept an expired license up to one year past the expiration date so you should be ok.

Re: Passport question
Your name on your passport and ticket have to match - your ID won't be good enough. I did a name change with my passport and it was pretty easy - you send it with your marriage license and it came back in like 5 weeks.
Etd to add you shouldn't have to show an ID if you have a passport - I have never had to show both.

Re: Passport question
the passport is your ID. the driver's license is irrevelant in this case. they do not check both. just make sure you book the ticket in your maiden name and you'll be fine.

Re: Passport question
all your ID must match, including the ticket.

As long as the name on the ticket and the passport are the same you won't have a problem. Just make sure the passport do not due to expire within six months. I've never had to show any other ID on a fight if I had my passport.
