Need help with Mexico please
Is anyone familiar with Mexico? I was curious to know which coast (if any) isn't affected by hurricanes, and also who has been there.
(getting married first weekend of Nov and am trying to think of honeymoon locations aside from certain areas of the caribbean)

DH and I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, and the Rivier Maya (Playa del Carmen area.) We have had a great time at all, but our favorite is Puerto Vallarta. As far as hurricanes go, the Cancun/Riviera Maya area would be most affected. The Pacific Coast has very few, if any, hurricanes, but they do have a rainy season. Let me know any other questions you may have and I'll do my best to help. A lot of people really enjoy Cabo San Luas, but I've never been, so I can't talk too much about that.

I got married this past November and we went to Playa Del Carmen for our HM. I absolutely LOVED it. Its so pretty, theres so much to do and the beaches are amazing. The nightlife is great and theres so much shopping and excursions to do.
We went Nov 9-17 and we had 8 days of hot sun. When we got there though everyone kept saying that we missed about 2 weeks of rain and clouds. So i think you might be picking a great time to head down there.

I went to Cabo! it's perfect that time of year
everyone I know that got married that time of year went there as well

We went to the Mexican Riviera Maya for our honeymoon. We stayed 60 km south of Cancun in Akumal. It was absolutely beautiful and the weather was gorgeous (we went in March). We were so close to Mayan Ruins and day trips to almost everything else.
A big plus was that we were not afraid to leave the resort and go off on our own. Plus, since it was right after some big hurricanes hit, we got awesome deals.

If that's the case, then you want to do something Pacific Coast- Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Acapulco, etc... Those are the big towns, but there are also realy nice small villages near thos areas. A travel agent would be able to point you in the right direction or good HM spots.

Yeah, if you wanna hit Vegas, you have to go to Pacific Coast Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is AMAZING!! Its one of 3 locations in Mexico I been and by far, my favorite!
