The mexican place is either Don Juan or Don Ricardo's...I can't remember! Also, Kotobuki is really good-it's sushi but they have chicken, etc.

They also have a whole wheat pasta with vegetables in a teriyaki sauce that is AMAZING. It's the only place that I can stand DH bringing me to when he wants to go out to get his sushi fix. Normally he orders in.
There is also Smokin Als BBQ and Milk and Sugar Cafe a little further east in Bay Shore. In Copaigue, there is Meson Ole which is an awesome Mexican place. The diner on Sunrise Highway in Lindehurst is highly rated and Tangs too.

There's the Japanese place, Shiki or Shiri, not sure of the name, but it's good.

Kirin China on Sunrise in Lindenhurst is really good (the do Japanese too). There is also Spoon in the village of Lindenhurst on Wellwood. Great little coffeehouse with sandwiches, salads, pizza, nice desserts...
Spoon is one of our faves!
