Does anyone else have a ton of stuff to do....
and no desire to do it?
Oh man...the amount of work I was supposed to get done. I really have to make sure I do it tomorrow because we have too much going on this weekend!
 ugh this break makes me soooooo lazy!!

I have a small stack of grading to do plus just need to plan for reading for the week back
I have been spending the last 2 days writing a handbook for my maternity leave sub.
I never realized how much I do and think about on a daily basis until I need to make sure someone else does it too!

Me!!  I just stare at the folder and find something else to do. I wanted to be ahead by doing so much work, and I hardly did any. I don't want to go back!!

I have prep work and a ton of grading to do. I have just no motivation whatsoever.... and I know it will go so fact once I start it, I just cannot get going. Sigh.

me neither... i glanced at it once or twice, but never opened it.
luckily though, i did a decent amount of prepping before break, but i still have a few things i should do!

I know....I keep putting it off! I'm not entirely sure what I am doing with my 8th graders on Monday either....

I have the bag that has remained in the corner since I cam home! It now has dust on it! LOL....must get this crap done today! I don't want to be doing it on Sunday! How did the time fly so fast?

Not only have I not TOUCHED my school bag since the break started, but I don't even know where my school bag is!!
DH and I did some cleaning up before having friends over for NYE and I don't even remember where I put it

At least I know I'm not alone here. I started the break so motivated telling myself I would get all caught up, etc, etc, etc..
Well, right now I'm sitting here with a pile of school junk and thinking I'll plan for tomorrow and Tuesday, and let the rest fall into place during the week

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think that we're all entitled to a vacation, too. I know I didn't assign much hw over the break, and I think we should treat ourselves with the same consideration that we treat the kids. It'll all get done... eventually. I do know I had a great break (with NO grading  )

 Well said. I was all worried I couldn't get it done in time, but once I did it, everything just flew! I usually get planning done in school but I had just finished concerts and lost most of my prep time cuz of it - plus we had a snow day in there AND I took a day off!
I don't mind going back TOO much. I'd like time to fly. Get me to June - for more reasons than just one! Ive knows what I'm talkin' bout, don't ya Ive?
