1st bday invite -check, dress -check, still need a ton of stuff and some suggestions and help
Well invites are out - here is a picture - I know some people asked last week but here it finally is (I whited out some areas)
Got her dress:
She loves winnie the pooh so we are trying to do a winnie the pooh and friends theme. Has anyone seen winnie the pooh 1st bday plates, cups, etc? I found them online but hoped to buy them in a store rather than order them online if I can help it.
We are planning a simple BBQ - we won't have a tent - but we do have those canopies but it won't be enough to cover us if it rains - so we would hold the party inside my parents home if it rains. So my question is what did people do about the food if they planned to bbq and it rains? Did you change your menu last minute - or how did you bbq in the rain? (hoping this won't be an issue).

We continued to BBQ in the rain 
But it was only drizzling and honestly, everyone stayed outside with us.
I am not sure about Winnie the Pooh stuff, but I have to go party city this week, so I can look for you

invite is adorable and I love that dress!!I have definitely seen winnie the pooh cups and plates etc. It was awhile ago (october when i was buying stuff for DD's baptism) but I saw 1st birthday winnie the pooh at party city.

Thank you!! I looked on their website and didn't see the 1st birthday ones so I was afraid they didn't carry them. I will check them out today!
DH is the one who will be BBQing - I tried to talk him into catering but he is adamant that he wants to cook himself.

Very cute invitation. I just got Winnie the pooh for my son's 1st (8/14) at walmart and paper factory (bellport outlets) They are changing to new pooh plates, so they were on clearance at the outlets (they had pink for a girl too)

How cute is that dress!!! I can't wait to see pictures of Kaitlyn in her dress. You did an awesome job on her invite too 
I haven't seen My friends Tigger and Pooh anywhere if that is what you are looking for in the stores. We are thinking along the same lines for DD also. I think party city has baby pooh bear for first birthday.
